20 Super Useful (and Cool) Add-ons for Firefox 3.5
Firefox 3.5 is the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox web browser. It has several new features. Firefox also boasts thousands and thousands of addons that enchance and add to Firefox’s functionality and features. But, not all addons are compatible with the latest version (3.5). So, here are 20 useful add-ons for Firefox 3.5 (only for Firefox 3.5).
1. Adblock Plus
Get rid of those pesky ads on websites, and browse in peace.
2. FlashGot
Download all the links, videos and audio clips on a page with a single click. A real time saver.
3. NoScript
Essential add-on for security. Allow active content (scripts etc) to run only from sites that you trust, and protect yourself from nasty XSS attacks.
4. Greasemonkey
Customize how a website behaves by using small bits of JavaScript code. Very useful for adding extra functionality to websites. (After you install this add-on, get scripts from UserScripts).
5. Firebug
Very useful for web developers. Firebug provides loads of information about a particular webpage: the requests made by the page to the server, the HTML source code, and more. You can also edit and monitor CSS, HTML and JavaScript in real time. A must have for any web developer.
6. Xmarks
Formerly known as FoxMarks, Xmarks is a useful bookmarking add-on. You can install it on several computers (for example your desktop and laptop) to keep all your bookmarks (and optionally passwords) synchronized. This means that your bookmarks will be up to date on each computer that Xmarks is installed on. If you bookmark a lot, and also use multiple computers, this extension is quite useful.
7. WOT (Web of Trust)
WOT (Web of Trust) protects you from risky websites. Protect yourself from spy/ad/malware and viruses, browser exploites, phishing attempts, scamming and more. Useful add-on for security.

8. Web Developer
Another indispensable add-on for web developers. The Web Developer toolbar provides you with a whole truckload of information about the current web page. You can see the CSS code that the web pages uses, or get information about the links, outline, DIV order, and lots more. A must-have for any web developer.
9. TwitterFox
A Twitter app for Firefox, TwitterFox allows you to update your Twitter status, and view tweets from right within Firefox. And, you can setup multiple Twitter accounts.
10. Easy YouTube Video Downloader
Download YouTube videos to your computer easily. This addon adds a link on YouTube video pages that allows you to download the video to your computer easily (FLV, MP4, and 3GP formats). Useful add-on.

11. FEBE
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions. In fact, it rebuilds your extensions individually into installable .xpi files. This allows you to save those .xpi files, on say a USB, and use them to install the same add-ons on another computer. Thus synchronize add-ons on two computers. Quite useful.

12. PDF Download
Choose what to do when you click on a PDF file. Firefox can sometimes hang up when you click on PDF files to view them in the browser itself. But with this addon, you can choose whether to download the PDF file, or view it in a tab.
13. Stumbleupon Toolbar
Discover new content with the StumbleUpon toolbar, share it, and make friends with people who have similar interests. You need to have an account at StumbleUpon. Great to pass the time and discover great content.
14. Speed Dial
Have direct access to your most visited websites, as in Google Chrome. Speed Dial automatically loads up in blank windows and tabs, and displays thumbnail images of your most visited websites
15. Read it Later
Stumbled upon article that you want to read, but don’t have the time? Save it for later by using Read it Later. This add-on allows you to save pages of interest to read later. Kinda like bookmarks, but not bookmarks. It doesn’t bookmark these pages. So, there’s no bookmark clutter. Simple.
16. Gmail Notifier
A nifty add-on that notifies you of any new mail in one (or multiple) Gmail accounts. Just set it up, and you don’t have to log in to the Gmail interface just to check for new mail.
17. ReloadEvery
Reload pages automatically every so many seconds or minutes. Useful for sites like Twitter: you don’t have to reload the page manually to view new tweets. Great add-on.
18. Delicious Bookmarks
Integrate your Delicious bookmarks and tags with Firefox, and automatically save new bookmarks to your Delicious account.
19. Picnik
See a picture or photo on the web that you’d like to edit? Use this add-on to automatically load images to Picnik, an online photo editor, for editing.
20. ColorfulTabs
The default gray-ish colour of tabs in Firefox can make for a dull experience. ColorfulTabs “colours every tab in a different color and makes them easy to distinguish while beautifying the overall appearance of the interface“. Fun add-on.

Where is Yoono ? Probably the best addons to manager Twitter, Facebook, MySpace on Firefox.
I tried NoScript for a while. It’s more intrusive than any script has ever been. I uninstalled it.
Thanks for bringing FEBE to my attention. I’ve been looking for something like this. I also find Extension List Dumper to be a useful related addon.

Locator – Locate an address on Google Maps by highlighting and clicking.
Netscape Link Pad – A simple short term place to store links that’s easy to access.
Packagemapping.com shows you where your package is on a map.
Password Exporter – Export all of your passwords saved in a file to install in Firefox and Thunderbird on another computer.
Quick Restart
Resurrect Pages provides links to archives of missing web pages.
Rotate Images – because, for some reason, a lot of people can’t figure out how to do this before they post them
Stop or Reload Button combines stop and reload buttons like Netscape used to have; clears up clutter on your toolbars, because it’s unnecessary to have both at the same time.
Tab History – Links opened in new tabs retain the history of the old tab, like Netscape used to do.
Tiny Menu unclutters your browser by condensing all your menus into one.
URL Link allows navigation to URLs without hyperlinks or with broken hyperlinks.
Unplug downloads videos that are otherwise blocked from download.
