    I really liked the orange one… but the island one also hooks me – reminds me of home… and also the green fields one – reminds me of one I actually saw, it felt like I was actually on the path to find the leprechaun’s pot of gold. ;-)

    There are several very beautiful rainbows. But for me the most funny one is that one where a cloud seems to lighten a certain point in the town with a beam. Thanks for sharing these photos with us!

    I remember this one time, me, my mom, and my brother were in our car driving home, and as we pulled onto an on-ramp for a highway, we saw a huge rainbow to the south. We stopped on the on-ramp and took some pictures with our camera phones, and then a police officer stopped behind us and asked if everything was ok. We said yes, just taking pictures of the rainbow, so he went back to his car. When he got to the highway, though, he looked at the rainbow and pulled over to take pictures for himself.

    Then we drove down the highway, and EVERY car was pulled over. Some people were just staring at it, others were taking pictures. One guy had a nice camera and a tri-pod, but I have no idea if he posted pictures anywhere. It was like something out of a movie…. a coutry highway with every car pull over, emergency blinkers on, everyone out of their cars and just looking past us (we were going northbound).

    True story, and if anyone says “Nobody cares”, stop talking about yourself.

    Rainbows always meant good luck for me. Saw them almost every day when I lived in the tropics. Had a print of one on my living room walls. I used the pseudonym “Rainvow” for years. Thanka for rhese beautiful photos. I didn’t have a good camera then.
