Please donate your old boxes to a church-group or some needy student in these hard times! To comply with the law, and with Microsoft’s leasing policy, you can now replace Microsoft OS with the free (download from the net) Ubuntu OS, which can be set to erase the hard drive of all traces of the “illegal to give away ” Microsoft system and your private information, before donation! Now, explain to your lucky recipient that all the manuals they will ever need are available for free on the internet! Just ask for them in Google! OpenOffice, which is installed already is plenty adequate for homework assignments and with a little exploring, everything else can work well too! Happy computing!

Love Slickness Black, I’m using it on my Stereo PC now. I personally prefer a more colourful icon theme than the black and white in the screenshot, though.

These are not Ubuntu themes. These are GNOME themes. Please stop acting like Ubuntu is the only Linux distro around.

Thank you so much for all these wonderful examples of what can be done with Ubuntu! i love a lot of them, but until there is a unified theme manager, this is a HUGE head ache for your average user… I know its a little much to ask, but a suggestion would be to make each one download-able as a single file (tar/gzip/bzip/zip whatever) because when you follow the links to download the files, most of them take you around in circles to get all the files needed… and still have no clue what needs to be done to make it all work… a “theme pack” with a README or a simple shell script could make this a lot easier, and be a lot more useful.. again thank you so much for the themes! i hope Ubuntu dev’s improve on theme ability in the future (or the gnome-look website makes it easier to grab all the file one theme needs at once ie. one click)

THANKS AGAIN FOR THE WONDERFUL THEMES!

    thanks for dropping by :D

each of these themes is linked to a download page. The download page contains a link to download the theme… and more than often these ZIP files also have readmes.. so everything’s cool [almost always] :D

i just shat what was, in essence, a functional scat grenade. it emerged from my anus in one big wallop of a push, and consisted of oatmeal-like diarrhea encapsulated in a hard stool shell. it exploded immediately upon exiting my rectum, and the fecal shrapnel covered the interior of my toilet bowl. anyone got a cigarette?
